These Terms and Conditions explain your rights and obligations when purchasing this service. Please read them carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms and Conditions do not affect these.

If you have any complaints about this online consulting service please contact Sue via this website.  If your complaint is not dealt with to your satisfaction then you can make a complaint to the BACP.

Purchasing the email service
To purchase this service you must be resident in the UK and over 18 years of age. When you submit your order you are offering to buy the email consulting service at the price set out in this website. Payment is made at the time of placing your order and is made through Business Paypal.

Delivery and confirmation
Sue aims to deliver this service within 4 working days. In the unlikely situation where she has not provided the email consultancy service within 14 working days then you may cancel the contract and she will refund any money paid by you. Business Paypal will send you a receipt confirming the payment you have made and this serves as Sue Parker Hall’s acceptance of your order. If you do not receive a reply to your email in 14 working days, please contact me on 01736 753410

Email a Counsellor service
The description of this Email service is as set out on this website. This service is not intended to replace the services of your GP and it is recommend that you keep your GP informed about the email counselling service you are receiving.

Confidentiality policy and Data Protection
Sue Parker Hall will treat all information disclosed to her by you as confidential. However, if she believes that you are in danger of harming yourself or others, or that a child is at risk, she reserves the right to inform outside agencies but would not do so, wherever possible, without discussing this with you first. If you disclose information about certain criminal or terrorist offences she has a professional obligation to tell outside agencies without informing you first.

You may ask that your details be removed from my system by writing to Sue at sueparkerhall@btconnect.com

Your use of this service means your express consent to Sue Parker Hall using your personal and sensitive data, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, for the purposes of delivering counselling to you, and for managing and quality assuring the service.

Other details you should know:
Sue Parker Hall will not necessarily keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions and your order so please print a copy of them for your information in the future.

Any contract between you will be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. All Dealings, correspondence and contact between us shall be made or conducted in the English language.

Although I have taken steps to ensure that any emails or attachments sent to you in connection with the email consulting service, are virus-free we advise that in keeping with good computing practice, you ensure that they are actually virus-free.

Please take care to keep secure any email that you send to Sue or response that you receive from her. Remember that you need to delete an item and then delete it again from within your recycle bin in order for it to be inaccessible in the future.

NB:
This service is not appropriate for people with mental health problems, the necessary level and continuity of care cannot be offered in an email service.
